주요 게릴라전(Guerrilla Warfare) 사례 고찰과 한반도에서의 양상 전망
21세기에는 핵무기 외에도 첨단과학기술 기반의 다양한 무기체계가 급속도로 발전하고 있다. 그러므로 현대전에서 게릴라전에 대한 논의는 다소 진부해 보일지 모른다. 그러나 지 난 2021년 8월에 끝난 아프가니스탄전에서도 탈레반의 게릴라전 수행은 여전히 강력했다. 본 연구의 목적은 주요 게릴라전 사례의 일반적 속성을 분석해 봄으로써 한반도에서의 게 릴라전 양상을 전망해 보는 것이다. 연구결과, 한반도에서 네 가지의 양상이 전망되었다. 첫째, 정규전 수행의 보조적 개념으로 전쟁 이전 단계부터 장기간에 걸쳐 지속될 것이다. 둘째, 북한은 한반도에서 분란전 형태의 게릴라전을 수행할 것이다. 셋째, 과거와 달리 도 시게릴라전에 집중할 것이다. 넷째, 사이버전, 심리전 등과 복합된 하이브리드전 형태가 될 것이다.
A Review of Major Guerrilla Warfare Cases and Prospects for Aspects on the Korean Peninsula
In addition to nuclear weapons in the 21st century, various weapon systems are being advanced at high speed. It may seem cliche to discuss guerrilla warfare in these modern wars. However, in the war in Afghanistan, which ended in August 2021, the Taliban guerrilla war was still powerful. The purpose of this study is to analyze general attributes by considering the a few guerrilla warfare cases, and to predict guerrilla war patterns on the Korean Peninsula. Through the study, four results were derived on North Korea's prediction of guerrilla warfare. First, it will be carried out continuously for a long time in the pre-war stage in terms of the dryness of large-scale conventional warfare. Second, they will carry out guerrilla warfare in the form of insurgency. Third, unlike in the past, North Korea will focus on the urban guerrilla war. Fourth, it is expected that guerrilla warfare in an integrated form with hybrid warfare such as cyber warfare and psychological warfare will be carried out.
